In the pursuit of Justice, we are very pleased to carry the foundational values of the Air Force service into our law practice. And, while Mark no longer wear’s a uniform, the Ethos and Spirit of Airmen and Veterans that preceded our family are the primary reasons why we maintain a lifetime membership to the United states Air Force Association. By doing so, we care to remember, 1Lt Gladys “Lys” McCary ’, who staked a hoe in a Texas Cotton Patch to join the Nursing Corps; Captain E.W. “Mac” McCary , who as a kid, landed a Glider in a Virginia school yard to then join the Air Cadet Corps; and Vietnam Veteran Tony Wilson , who, post-service, has brought wonderful candy joy to many through our State’s very own SWEET TASTE OF TEXAS .

The United States Air Force was formed in 1947 with a reputation of being one of the most rebellious, daring, forward thinking, and creative of the services. Through unparalleled advocacy, and dauntless courage, leading Airmen risked not only careers for their cause, but their lives for their country. Our legacy is this Air Force family. On Mandy’s side, her relatives have served in the uniformed services of World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam, reestablishing themselves with Texas homestead to pursue lives of peace after honorable service. Post 9-11, she supported Mark’s recall to the community of “ Quiet Professionals ” as an Air Force spouse. Mark’s own heritage is borne from family members who served in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, The Great War, World War II, Berlin Airlift, Korean Conflict, Cold War, and his own world-wide alert deployments. From this vantage, it Is our Firm’s belief, that no matter who your family is, or what service you’ve been called to, you can still claim a great personal legacy.

Sometimes a legal legacy demands much more than pure logic. It requires consideration of cultural and community divides to better address opposing viewpoints. Our education includes cross-border studies in England and Germany, with focus on international studies, as well as professional military development/service allowing us to better address local challenges with a global perspective.

Preamble of our Constituion.

We have also been called to the test. There is an inherent friction in our Constitutional values that makes service in defense of our country and representation across community borders, a great challenge for veterans and citizens alike. We have stood within this friction, and are bettter positioned to tackle legal challenges as a result. While our first calling has been among service members of all branches with the singular mission “ to Provide for the Common Defense ”, both Mark and Mandy are proud to now serve in a capacity that protects our Nation’s top priority. In our Firm’s view, their is no greater responsibility under the Preamble of the Constitution then “ to Establish Justice, and ensure Domestic Tranquility .” In the words of a great Statesman and Legal Counsel, “ Justice, sir, is the great interest of man on Earth. It is the ligament which holds civilized beings and civilized nations together. Wherever her temple stands, and so long as it is duly honored, there is a foundation for social security, general happiness and the improvement and progress of our race ”, Daniel Webster, (1782-1852).
